Twenty-five people came to swim on Monday. The river was flowing strongly, and crossing to the far bank was quite an experience. Nobody was swept away, so all was well. Water temperature: 4°C.
Let me repeat: regularity, consistency and gradual progress.
I thought I would take a few pictures of our warm-up run too. It is a pleasant 2.5km along the river, enough to shake off the cold after a swim of up to ten minutes. There are fewer of us running together, of course, because many run straight home.
See you on Wednesday ❤️.
